I did my hourly Apple.com check and seen that their store said "be back soon" and just knew OH Snap!
Wow!

Tethering is not currently available in the U.S. (according to Apple)
but the feature will be on this phone/computer, and its based on you carrier.
If you still wanted the previous edition of the Iphone 3G its still available for $99, in the color black.
Also the 13inch Macbook with the aluminum unibody body has been added to the Macbook Pro family and has received a processor upgrade and a price from $1199.

Pretty much what it means; I wasn't excited or blown away by anything announced. The phone is supposed to be twice as fast, but otherwise it's almost exactly the same as the previous version. It has 7.2MBPS HSDPA, but AT&T still won't let you tether. It has 30FPS camera, which now mostly matches up with all the other smartphones in its class. A 3MP camera isn't exactly leading the class, and it's only a 1MP upgrade from gen 1.
Compass? Woo. Voice controls? Woo. Still no front-facing camera. In the end, it's essentially the same as what they already have out, and there's very little compelling for me to choose it over Android or stick with my current phone.

That pretty much sums it up. I'm pleased with the cheap Snow Leopard upgrade and OS 3.0 for the iPhone. With AT&T's epic nerf of the iPhone 3GtypeRspecVevoIIIVXBlackEditionGT-S, the called-in MacBook updates, and Safari 4 (yawn), they didn't hit this one out of the park. It was a bunt to first that lost in a double play at the next bat.

Oh now a 32GB version while I'm currently screwing around with my library so my music can fit on my 16gb iPhone. FU Apple.
I'll allow that to slip by considering the touch screen keyboard is pretty much the ultimate fail

I can't fight preferences its not what I stand for, and I value your opinion even though it disfavors my preferences only because options should be available there not.
But when Apple made that stand to make it Exclusively a touch phone it stands out to me even without a keypad. I don't see apple every adding a keypad
