Kingston launches 12GB DDR3 pack

Kingston is now selling HyperX DDR3-1600 in 12GB packs for Core I7 users running fat X58 desktops. Is it enough RAM or simply too much?

mas0n 12GB would be great for people who run multiple VMs. I run 8GB on my main rig with 3GB dedicated to two VMs and leaving only 5GB, which can feel a bit anemic at times.

Tim I remember a few years ago when I was playing around with an old Abit BP6 dual cpu motherboard, and the people at bp6.com were all interested in overclocking those Celerons as far as they could.

Back then, loading that motherboard up to its 768 MB RAM limit felt great, even though it didn't use much of that 768 MB!
