    20 Sep 2009 ~ 5:26am Thrax The sad thing is that the camera looks pretty damn great on my end, but something is <i>definitely</i> lost to compression in transmission. I'm serious, the only thing wrong with the picture pre-transmission is that it's 320x240. Everything else is great... Color, fluidity, etc.

    That plays a big part, I have to upscale it to 640X480. The capture was done at the highest quality of compression available, which obviously does a bit of the work as well.
    
    Though the first to questions I upscaled a bit more yet in post. I was so concerned with recording logistics that I wasn't really looking at the framing of the shot, and there was WAY too much headroom in the first take. So I upscaled a little to I could pan down and try to create a better composition.
    
    GQ - Video was shot on Friday, which was pre pirate speak day. You can't be premature with these things, you know.
