As a kid, I beat the swimming stage in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game on the NES, and even that wasn’t as difficult as it is working at an NBC affiliate TV station during the Olympics. Despite the 2010 games keeping me at work well past my bed time, I have been enjoying the events, particularly hockey and curling. There’s just something special about sliding a 40 pound piece of granite on a long sheet of ice–special enough to inspire Dunigan, myself and a few other college buddies to play the game in our hallway with bowling balls.
Next, if you are still using the Windows 7 Release Candidate, time is running out for you to enjoy that shiny new operating system. Starting in March, the Release Candidate will shut down automatically every two hours. Come June, your PC will bite the dust. So upgrade now, or forever hold your peace.
Finally, Italy is having issues with their privates. The Italian court is convicting three executives from Google for breaking Italian privacy laws. Essentially, Google is being punished for the wrongdoing of a user on one of their services. The whole thing is a mess, but how do I really feel about it? Press play before I’m thrown in jail for someone else’s offense!
