The Oscars are over and the world has moved on to the 2010 Game Developers Conference. Unfortunately, I have been unable to move on with life, and it keeps me up at night. That’s funny though, right? Right? (Ed: Nightmares of Neytiri losing best actress?)
If you’re a modern gamer with a modern console, then you’re probably playing the recently released Final Fantasy XIII. If you’re a stubborn PC gamer like myself, then you’re probably not playing it and secretly weeping inside. The feelings quickly diminish, however, when you realize that there are people in this world foolish enough to nominate the Internet for a Nobel Peace Prize. Last time I checked, the Internet was hardly a peace and harmony kind of gig.
Finally, late last week we reported that Newegg was inadvertently shipping counterfeit chips. After a fling with a certain distributor’s C&D letter, Newegg clarified the situation and apologized to the enthusiasts that were sent cardboard processors. Balance had returned to the Force.
There will not be an episode next week, as I will be kicking it in the D with 20 some members of the Icrontic community for ICSP. So until then, click play and enjoy the ride.
