  1. Several companies are working on carbon nanotube-based thermal interface material.
  2. Once that’s complete, we’re looking at CNT-based heatsinks.

Both of these should appear by the end of the year in limited volume. Expect major brands to be signed up to this initiative.

    10 Jan 2009 ~ 4:52pm csimon That's the best news I've heard yet. Much more efficient than current thermal interface and high end heatsink solutions IMHO. I for one would like to see the heatpipe go by the wayside but it will probably only get enhanced.
