Motorola has plans to release an Android phone in early 2009, according to Beta News. Motorola would like to ship to the US in the second quarter of 2009 and will be apart of new line of smart phones. The phones are directed towards social networking platforms such as Myspace and Facebook
Specs on the new phone are sketchy, but will include a touch screen and slide-out qwerty keyboard along with social networking software. No word yet which wireless provider will carry the phone.
