In an unsurprisingly tardy move, Microsoft has decided to bring Office to the web. On the surface, it appears Microsoft hopes to curtail the use of Google Docs as well as Yahoo!’s Zimbra.
The transition to the internet arrives in an extension of the Windows Live! service which is a relatively recent Microsoft platform designed to deliver both new and old Microsoft services via the web.
