
Yesterday Nero released the tenth version of their eponymous media suite, now called Nero Multimedia Suite 10.
New features since version 9 include:

- CUDA support for AVCHD output

- Crop, edit, and publish photos
- Overall enhancements to take advantage of Windows 7 features
- Play media in Thumbnail Toolbar
- Context menu support
- Import from Windows 7 libraries
- Backup and Recovery
- One-click backup
- Scheduled backups with mixed backup methods, compression and encryption levels
- Span large backups across different media types in any combination
- Recover previous file versions
- File syncronization
- Knowledge Center
- Integrated tutorials
- Direct access to add-ons and updates
The full suite is available for $99.99, but owners of previous versions can upgrade for as low as $53.99. Overall it seems as if Nero is trying to become a serious competitor to iLife and the Adobe Photoshop/Premiere Elements combo package.
