The first of three new games that Futuremark Games Studio has recently hinted at has been detailed today: A “skill shot” (read: Angry Birds clone) puzzle game for iOS called “Hungribles.”
Okay, look… Let’s just call a spade a spade. This is an attempt for Futuremark Games Studio to get a piece of the iOS casual pie. That’s cool, they deserve it. No reason not to. Get it while you can, etc.
And hey, if Hungribles starts pumping a bit of cashflow into Futuremark, that’s cool; these guys are hardcore PC gamers at heart, we know that. Money never hurt, and in the end, it will benefit PC gamers like us because Futuremark will keep pumping out awesome games.
