Here’s a new developer diary from the upcoming Prototype 2, which discusses the relationship between the new protagonist and the previous one. I never found the previous protagonist, Alex Mercer, to be easy to relate to at all, so the move to a new protagonist with Mercer as the enemy seems promising. I did enjoy the first one’s gameplay so we’ll have to wait and see if this one decides to bring the story to the same level as the actual gameplay.
