Not much to look at this week. Perhaps worth at least mentioning is Earthrise, another new MMORPG. This one is set in a dystopian far-future. Cloning and mental transfer technology have made the human race immortal, and the man who controls that technology rules the world with his power over life. The game makes the usual claims of complex interaction, and PvP worth PvPing. The only interesting claims are the lack of a class system, and a territorial defense mechanic. Of course, once again they expect players to pay monthly. Whatever.
I suppose I could reluctantly point out Bionic Commando Rearmed 2, though I think there are some kind of serious sequel-naming conventions being broken here. This game is going to revolutionize 2D gaming with its combination of roots-gaming and modern graphical enhancements, or something.
