New Releases for The Week of Right Handed Dancers and Monster Dress-up

Micheal Jackson The Experience

Michael Jackson The Experience is a dancing game  which allows players to attempt to strike the moves as performed by the legendary pop star. Unfortunately, it’s not being released for either of the new eye-ball devices on the market. Instead, players will each hold on to one WiiMote, and have only the movements of their right hand judged by the “game”. I’m going to go out on a limb here, and declare the days of WiiMote-only dancing games to be over. The ones already on the market are terrible for their lack of range and poor detection. Why anyone would make another one is beyond my understanding. On the gloved hand, however, I guess I can see this game selling to all the die-hard Jackson fans, who will all probably play it once, then put it back in its case on the shelf for the remainder of this console generation.

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom

In Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom, the protagonist is a human who must team up with a monster to work through puzzles and battles. The player will control only the human, while the monster may be given only vague orders. The visual style is reminiscent of Square or Ico styles of fantasy. Customize your protagonist and monster with odd costumes, explore a fallen empire, and strengthen your alliance with the monster. Of course, you are the only hope for the world’s salvation.
