Gangstar 2: Kings of L.A.
In the DSi release Gangstar 2: Kings of L.A., players will take on the role of the newest face on the L.A. streets. Complete 75 interconnected missions in an open-world adventuring environment, which has the player in fist-fights, gun-fights, and dangerous car-chases. Meet up with family members, and rise quickly through the ranks of the L.A. gang scene. When you get in trouble, quickly escape the police by taking a new picture of yourself with the DSi camera for use in a fake-ID.
Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse Episode 1: The Penal Zone
On PC and PS3, we’re beginning a new season of Sam & Max with Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse Episode 1: The Penal Zone. Max has been imbued with strange magical powers through contact with an ancient set of toys. Predictably, this brings evil baddies out of the woodwork, all of whom want a piece of Max and his new toys. Each episode will feature new, more powerful enemies, while Max continues to grow stronger. In this first episode, Sam and Max face off against an evil Space Gorilla bent on domination of Earth. AlphaBounce
The Icrontic Spotlight this week is the DSi release AlphaBounce. Being touted as the very first cross between the breakout and RPG genres, this brick-breaking game runs players through millions of potential levels, while following a cohesive story-line, and earning experience points which can be used to level up the paddle and balls. The player begins the game as a prisoner, and must escape the evil mining corporation and attempt to return to earth. Along the way, the player will find ancient artifacts, and new technology with which to outfit their ship and weapons in an effort to more effectively break the bricks that guard the path home.
