New TF2 content circa April 20th

Today comes news from Shacknews that will get TF2 players in a frenzy, and that is the announcement of the arrival of new TF2 content. Players have been pining after the new achievements and new weapons spoken of many months prior, and now it looks like Valve has committed to a release the week of April 20th!

30 Mar 2008 ~ 8:44pm UPSLynx Man... it's about time they rolled this stuff out. It seems just like yesterday when valve said to expect all the new content in a month. Except yesterday was about 3 months ago, and the content has changed. Instead of the medic having an overcharge medi-gun, it'll now have a medi-gun that will give the recipiant 100% crits for the duration of the charge. 100% crits.

my lord, the pyros. OH the pyros. I can now see GnomeQueen paying me back for those headshots.

Anyways, the new content should be a great, refreshing addition. Better late than ever, and you know valve will see to it that it's balanced and near perfect. Let's just hope the subsequent additions to other classes doesn't take nearly as long.
30 Mar 2008 ~ 10:25pm fatcat 10 seconds of crits would wipe the opposing team... I've had a rare moment of about 2 seconds of crits as a pyro and was able to take out a demoman, sentry, engie, dispenser and soldier, captured the final point in the process.
