Noctua intros NH-C12P SE14

noctua_nh_c12p_se14_3Austrian heatsink vendor Noctua has announced today a special edition of their award-winning NH-C12P heatsink.

Dubbed the NH-C12P SE14, the new revision expands the cooling potential of the original by increasing the fan size to 140MM with the company’s new NF-P14 fan. The addition of a 140MM fan not only improves the unit’s CFM from 54.3 to 64.9, but also brings airflow to more of the sink’s surface area, and extends the NH-C12P’s cooling potential to the socket-area circuits like the hot-running PWMs.

“Ever since its introduction last year, our NH-C12P has been a very popular choice among customers who seek excellent cooling performance close to our signature NH-U12P series at much lower height,” said Mag. Roland Mossig, Noctua CEO.

“More than 100 awards and recommendations from the international press are a testimony to the NH-C12P’s broad appeal, so we’ve decided to issue a special edition that adds compatibility with the latest Intel sockets and further improves the coolers renowned cooling efficiency by using our new NF-P14 fan.”

Fan aside, the NH-C12P SE14 follows the specs of its predecessor: 550g weight, 91x126x152mm (HxWxD) dimensions, a sextet of nickel-plated heatpipes, a pure copper base, aluminum fins, and support for all current sockets from both AMD and Intel.

The NH-C12P SE14 will be available at retail shortly with an MSRP of $69.90/€59,90
