New on the indie gaming scene, “The IndieRoyale” is a joint venture from Indiegames.com and Desura offering four indie titles in their launch bundle with the promise of more to come.
The Launch Bundle
First up is A.R.E.S. Extinction Agenda, a 2D shooter/platformer with a definite hint of Mega Man to it. Next is Gemini Rue, a cyberpunk point-and-click adventure game which is oddly reminiscent of Beneath a Steel Sky (which, incidentally, is free from gog.com). Third is Sanctum, an FPS take on a tower defense game with co-op play. And finally Nimbus, a puzzle game where you must navigate a craft using the enviroment.
Like the Humble Bundles before it, The IndieRoyale offers a great deal on an eclectic pack of indie titles with Desura and Steam copies where available, but with a twist in the form of a constantly fluctuating minimum price. Sales of the bundle gradually increase the minimum price but purchases over the minimum will decrease it for other buyers.
The current bundle is due to end in three days, but with three more in the works it’s certainly one to watch.
