NVIDIA ForceWare 197.45 receives WHQL cert

NVIDIA has announced the final release of ForceWare version 197.45, designed primarily to improve GPU performance in Adobe CS5. The included WHQL certificate also assures that ForceWare version 197.45 performed correctly on a wide range of system configurations.

The list of changes in this release is small, and has been reproduced in full in the following changelog:

• Recommended for the best performance with the new GPU-accelerated features in Adobe CS5.
• Adds support for the new version of MotionDSP’s video enhancement software, vReveal, which adds support for HD output. NVIDIA customers can download a free version of vReveal that supports up to SD output here.

As a note, GeForce GTX 470 and GTX 480 users are advised to continue using ForceWare version 197.41.
