Today NZXT has announced the upcoming release of their high-end notebook coolers, the Cryo V60 and X60. These are models we saw at the beginning of the year during CES and again at Computex have finally been refined and are ready for the mass market.
First up we have the $60 Cryo X60, an all-aluminum cooler for laptops up to 16”. It comes with two 120mm fans and an integrated 5 speed fan controller.
(The picture above is a mockup, not the actual production model). It also comes with a four-port USB 2.0 hub for port expansion, and the ability to power the fans through either a USB port or through an AC adapter. The leg height is adjustable for ergonomics. It will be available in June of 2013.
The other Cryo that was announced today is the V60. This is the one that we mentioned back in January that looks like a Dyson Airblade. The main sell here is that it is lightweight and therefore more portable for travel. It also accommodates 16″ laptops, but lacks the frills of metal construction and USB expansion.
The Cryo V60 will also be available in June, for $32.99.
