NZXT today revealed their new full tower case, the Phantom. The Phantom is, according to NZXT, their “most elegant and intelligent chassis design to date.”
The Phantom sports seven fans, including dual 200m, single 230/200mm, triple 120mm, and front 140mm fans. There is also an integrated fan controller with room for up to five 20W fans. Watercooling enthusiasts will also enjoy the Phantom, as it has four watercooling cutouts with dual radiator support.
The new case was created with space in mind, and it has room for a large heatsink, graphics cards, E-ATX motherboards, 7 hard drives and 5 optical drives. Additionally, the case has a lot of space behind the motherboard for wire management, and 5.25” screwless rails to make installing HDDs easier.
The Phantom also has a switch controlling the lights to the case, rubber PSU and case feet, removable front and top panels, and top mounted USB, audio, and E-SATA ports.
NZXT appears to be bubbling with excitement over their new case. “The profoundly unique contours combined with a highly functional, robust feature set solidifies Phantom as one of the most innovative case designs on the market,” said Johnny Hou, Founder and Chief Designer at NZXT.
The Phantom was created with design input from modder of the L.O.S.I.A.S., Rogue, and OSIDIAS Projects, Craig Brugger. NZXT tries to reach out to the community in order to get input on their upcoming cases.
The Phantom comes in black, red, and white, and will retail for $139.99 this September.
