After corroborated reports and a phone call to Google, it has become clear that the OTA update to Android 2.2 is officially under way for the HTC Nexus One.
MG Sielger of TechCrunch reports that his Nexus One has received the update, and he’s not alone. Twitter users by the name of @metanil, @cchilds and @thowi claim to have received the update as well.
Based on these events, Siegler called Google to ask a few questions, and he was informed that the update to FroYo is indeed under way, but will be executed very slowly over the next few weeks.
