Tits and fire on a weapon that shoots shurikens and lightening (sic).
I don’t know about you, but that excites the hell outta me. According to Homegrown Games’ website, they don’t have time to work on a real web page because they have to get the aforementioned tits and fire into the game.
Oh yeah, the game; an all-new sequel to Painkiller and Painkiller:Overdose. This time you do not play as Daniel; you are instead cast in the role of a CIA agent with a moral dilemma. Through a botched assassination attempt, agent Bill Sherman ends up in Purgatory, which is where the game begins.
Painkiller is one of my personal favorite single player FPS experiences. When I first played it, I was immediately drawn in. Even though 2004 was the Year of Doom 3, Painkiller was the far better game, and remains to this day a game that I revisit occasionally because of the uniqueness of the weapons, the frenzied monster rushes, the variety of environments, and the extreme challenge. Hopefully the next iteration will be as good as the first.
