Today the recently-assimilated Pandemic Studios announced Mercs Inc (working title), the next game in the Mercs series. In active development at EALA, Mercs will be the first Pandemic title to be developed at the studio’s new home in Playa Vista, CA. Apparently, it has not been cancelled, as was previously reported.
From the leaked footage, Mercs Inc looks like a multiplayer free-for-all.
Platform has not been announced yet, but it is safe to assume it will be a full cross-platform release.
