Today Paradox Interactive announced a free major update to their popular naval simulator East India Company. The content update, entitled “Designer’s Cut”, is a major patch and update bringing a bevy of fixes and new features to the game.
The update includes new port views, the ability to fight on land during island battles, two new multiplayer modes, and history graphs to track long-term player progress. The multiplayer modes are called “Beehive” and “Breakthrough”.
More information on the new modes and other enhancements will be coming in closer to the update’s release date of October 27th.
