AMD & Intel seemed to be in a pissing contest last year which dropped not only the prices of CPU’s, but the overall cost the consumer had to pay for a new PC. This time around AMD has stated they are no longer going to chop prices and continue on with the craziness.
I am willing to bet if Intel keeps its prices falling AMD will follow suit. As of today, AMD has the lowest priced processors on the market. While not being the fastest, they still offer a great performance increase for your dollar.
