Play Lead and Gold for free this weekend

Paradox Interactive announced today that Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West will be free to play this weekend on Steam. The weekend starts today, and continues through Sunday, July 25th.

Lead and Gold is a game set in the wild west that has distinct playable characters, a flexible leveling system allowing you to customize your character, a variety of different game modes, and mechanics that allow players to learn the game quickly and easily. Paradox has recently added dedicated servers per player request and a new map in an effort to build the community. Additionally, the game is currently 50% off as part of the Paradox Interactive annual summer sale.

25 Jul 2010 ~ 7:34pm MrTRiot I tried it out, it even ran on my single core perfectly with settings almost maxed (thanks to my lovely 1gb 9800GT).

But....In the 5 matches I played I would die within 30 seconds and get repeatedly spawn killed. Not my idea of fun It's a great game otherwise
27 Jul 2010 ~ 3:10pm Tushon If you were getting spawn killed, try switching back to the "original" spawn rather than the "flag" spawn. I played a few coop games with Basil to get the hang of each character before jumping into pub matches.
