Updates to the rendering engine mean more bling for your screen.

Sony released an update to its successful PS3 Folding@Home client this week. The update includes improvements to the graphical interface and revisions to how the proteins are modeled, with the aim of having them look like renderings found in modern biology textbooks. Aside from eye candy, the developers have included control support for the PSP handheld allowing users to view Folding process and control the user interface. Behind all that is an updated core that allows more precise protein modeling. No information on how the update will effect points production, but I’m sure that data will become available as time progresses.

Anyone interested in the Folding@Home project is encouraged to visit Icrontic’s Folding forum. Team 93 is always looking to support this important research project.

BuddyJ I guess some people do that to make their unit seem bigger than it really is. ;)

BuddyJ TBH, it's not the size that matters, it's what you cure with it.
