Saints Row: The Third “Shock and Awesome” trailer

Saint’s Row: The Third takes a jab at Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 with an over-the-top (a bit redundant when talking about SR:3) trailer highlighting STAG, the Special Tactical Anti-Gang unit. They are the in-game military force, outfitted with hover jets, speeder bikes, laser tanks, and a flying aircraft carrier. Yep.

As STAG occupies Steelport and takes aim at both the Syndicate and the Saints, you’ll have to adapt, overcome, infiltrate, penetrate, and execute all sorts of military-sounding words. The release date is set for just under a month from now on November 15 for PS3, 360, and PC.

18 Oct 2011 ~ 1:16pm Koreish It's interesting that with the first two games the trailers were serious and the games ended up being over the top, especially SR2. Now for the third installment the trailers are incredibly over the top, almost to much in my mind.

1 Nov 2011 ~ 4:35pm Koreish Not gonna lie, kinda disappointed with the customization of the Initiation Station. I can't wear cloths any differently than how they're designed. For instance in SR2 you could wear shirts buttoned, opened, or completely unbuttoned. In SR3 if its a buttoned shirt its staying buttoned. The body and face creator is much more refined than in SR2, but the body is going to be covered by cloths anyway, unless you go nude, especially now that you can't wear the cloths differently.
