We’re here live at the Los Angeles Sports Arena, covering the Sony 2011 E3 press conference.
Upon arriving, everyone was treated to an outdoor party with free food trucks, open bar, and live music. At 4:40pm PST they started seating people in the theater. Real 3D glasses were handed out to everyone upon entering.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen, our program will begin in 10 minutes. On a side note, the dude who just used his iPad 2 to take a picture looked like a tool. iPad 2 just looks incredibly dorky when used as a camera.

I have a feeling the pre-show-party will be remembered as the awesomest part of this conference. Food trucks included a sushi, dim sum, empanadas, Nathan’s Coney dogs, Komodo Mexican-Asian fusion, Subway, and more. Also, open bars with premium liquor and imported beers. I mean, that’s a hard act to follow.

They’re showing a bunch of games in full 3D, basically it looks like a brag reel of their accomplishments this year so far.

“This isn’t the first time I’ve taken the stage at an E3 press conference with an elephant in the room…” Yeah.
He’s thanking partners for sticking with them, and basically trying humility with the crowd. Yeah, we screwed up, basically.
“I want to apologize, both personally and on behalf of the company.”
