Spammer gets 30 years in the clink

Christopher William Smith, who netted more than $24 million in the illegal sale of prescription medications is set to do 30 years in the FPYITAP. After Smith’s Burnsville pharmacy was closed in early 2005, he used a fake passport to travel to the Dominican Republic in hopes of establishing a new pharmacy outside of the arm of US law.

Convicted of conspiracy, the illegal distribution of drugs and sundry other felonies, he’s set to peace out on society for a good, long time.

Good riddance.
