CB I've been looking for an affordable 7-10" LCD monitor for years. $340 is a pretty good price from what I've seen, but still outside of my budget. It's perpetually surprising to me how much very small monitors cost, I suppose the demand is low.

Also, it's not very pretty when used free-standing, but I guess it's not meant for that...

Garg Not bad. If the contrast was a bit better and the resolution were bumped up, it'd be hard to resist for a car PC.

Snarkasm I just want the screen, no silly box. It's always been a little bit of a dream of mine to have a tiny (touchscreen) monitor on a tiny arm that I could put useless junk like a music player or torrent client on and have some fun with it.

    Still just a dream, though.

^ This is what I want one for. That's why $340 is still too much... For me it would just be a toy...
