Futuremark Games Studio, creators of Shattered Horizon, recently dropped a pretty blatant hint that they’re working on not one, but three new game projects. They’ve only released the following video as well as letting us know that if you want to find out more, their Facebook page is the place to go for current news.
The first game looks like it may be a light-hearted take on an alien invasion. The second looks like a casual puzzle game at a microscopic scale. The third, and the most bad-ass looking one to me personally, appears to be a 3D spaceship flight combat game—perhaps even set in the world of Shattered Horizon. I cannot even begin to tell you how long I’ve been wanting a good spaceflight combat game akin to Rogue Squadron. A modern space combat game using Futuremark’s high-end engine would be spectacular. Here’s to hoping.
