Toshiba announced today that they’re ceasing production of HD-DVDs. They cite market conditions, which is a nice way of saying that they can no longer afford to play the money game with Sony. It should be safe to say that the format war is officially over.

20 Feb 2008 ~ 3:55pm Mikail-Critchki I've read that Sony is selling Toshiba a Chip Factory. Meaning that Sony will sell "chips" to Toshiba for them to have in their products.
