Toshiba showed off a new laptop battery yesterday that achieves 90 percent of its charge in 10 minutes and should provide power longer and endure more recharge cycles than existing batteries. The technology, called SCiB (Super Charge Ion Batteries), isn’t ready for the public yet but should eventually find its way into mobile devices and even an electric scooter.
I hope it finds its way into mobile phones. Recharging every other day is annoying.
