Ubisoft officially reveals Assassin’s Creed Revelations

Is it just me, or is the way Ubisoft is structuring the story of Assasin’s Creed exactly like what Valve has done with Half-Life? Like how the second game in the series is actually a trilogy (the Half-Life 2 episodes = Assassin’s Creed games with Ezio)?

Too much of a stretch?

Too bad, because the third and final episode of Ezio Auditore’s adventure is coming this November. As Ezio, you take after your famous relative Altaïr and head to Constantinople, the “heart” of the Ottoman Empire. This new installment also comes with the multiplayer first introduced in Brotherhood with “with more modes, more maps and more characters”. It appears that the whole tie-in with Desmond will be extremely prevalent with some “revolutionary gameplay” that has to do with Desmond’s memories.

The only thing truly substantial from this announcement is the screenshot shown below, featuring an older Ezio hanging off a building in Constantinople. The item of note in this image is the sort of hook mechanism that Ezio is sporting on his right arm. While nothing has been concretely revealed about the hook, a solid guess would be that this new tool could be used to traverse zip lines or other creative means of travel. This is of course all speculation until further details are revealed at E3.

ardichoke Ugh... I still need to finish the first one... and START the second one (which I got from Steam back in December, installed but have yet to launch).

    I'm so far behind.

I don't know if you really need to finish AC1 if you've already completed a few missions. AC2 picks up pretty much where AC1 leaves off as far as the Desmond storyline goes. You do need to get on it with AC2 though.

    Snarkasm And Brotherhood!

NiGHTS The multiplayer of Brotherhood alone is practically worth the price of the game. Great series that I can't wait to continue.
