Ubisoft unveils E3 2011 lineup

Ubisoft E3 2011 titlesToday Ubisoft announced their E3 2011 lineup:

In what they’re calling the “High-definition” category:

  • Assassin’s Creed® Revelations
  • Call of Juarez®: The Cartel
  • Driver® San Francisco
  • Rayman Origins
  • Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Future Soldier

In addition, they’ll also be pushing Rocksmith quite a bit; Rocksmith is their new music game that uses real guitars. They’ll have a Rocksmith Tour Bus outside the LA Convention Center for demos and playtesting.

They also announced a bunch of casual titles and online titles that are more interesting to their shareholders than our audience, so we’ll just leave it at that. More Rabbids, etc. (although Trackmania2 Canyon was mentioned, so that’s cool.)

So, what’s missing from this list? You named it—the only game many of us care about at all—Beyond Good and Evil 2.

Maybe we can hope for a Jobs-style “Oh, and one more thing…” piece. But, this IS Ubisoft we’re talking about, so don’t count on it.
