Uncharted 2 wins Game of the Year

Playstation 3-exclusive powerhouse “Uncharted 2: Among Thieves” was just chosen as 2009 Game of the Year at the SpikeTV Video Game Awards.

Other contenders were Assassin’s Creed 2, Modern Warfare 2, Batman Arkham Asylum, and Left 4 Dead 2.

Uncharted 2 is the sequel to the 2007 surprise hit “Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune”, developed by Naughty Dog for Sony Publishing.

14 Dec 2009 ~ 7:30am mirage Both IGN and Gamespot rated this game 9.5. Amazon reviews are at 5 stars after hundreds of reviews. Can you guys be specific about what part you didn't like about this game? I assume all of you have PS3, right?
14 Dec 2009 ~ 8:12am Gate28 I found the controls too lose for me and what could be solid multiplayer is destroyed by shotgun rushing and other counter-strategic tactics.
14 Dec 2009 ~ 1:12pm Koreish I played the game for about an hour, then watched a friend play it for another. Within those two hours nothing struck me as all that great, not the gameplay, story, or "puzzles". Sure the graphics were pretty but that's not what I'm looking for in a game and certainly isn't material for game of the year.
16 Dec 2009 ~ 5:48pm noway Batman or assasins creed should have completely OBLITERATED uncharted 2. it does nothing innovative and does not have the depth and beauty of batman besides having "good graphics". like who gives a fuck if the gameplay doesnt do anything that great then it doesnt deseve shit
