Windows 7 Beta 1 availability ends tonight

windows7Users interested in legitimately acquiring a copy of the popular Windows 7 Beta 1 are encouraged to get their downloads going before tonight’s 11:59 PM EST deadline.

Once the clock strikes midnight, Microsoft’s official links to the goods will be scrubbed from their pages. Any user who has started the download prior to pumpkin hour will have until noon EST on February 12 before the files are nixed from Microsoft servers, so get goin’!

BuddyJ So they're ditching the .iso but still letting you register for keys. What's the point then?
  2. Snarkasm
Snarkasm Don't need to keep the servers running to feed the demand.
  3. Thrax
Thrax The keys are still available because MSDN and Technet subscribers will continue to have access to the beta.
  4. chrisWhite
chrisWhite Thanks for the heads up, I'm downloading.
  5. Garg
Garg Thanks for the reminder, I hadn't grabbed a 32-bit key yet.
