Yo Joe! EA announces GI Joe game

Holy shit, kids! GTFO!

Today EA Games announced a new game based on the GI Joe franchise. With an upcoming movie based on the property, the game is sure to be a movie tie-in.

We can only hope that it is not one of the bad movie tie-ins. There are plenty. Everytime something is announced that taps into a childhood memory, we all cringe because we know that things can go horribly, horribly wrong.

They will be showing a demo on February 15th in the Hasbro booth at Toy Fair (an annual toy conference in New York City).

Maybe we’ll get lucky and the game will be based on FenslerFilm’s GI Joe PSA remakes. I’d love to play the level where you’re totally going so fast on the ice.
