I got me a x800 Pro VIVO the other day which i directly modded to the XT PE version. Man! What an upgrade from the 9800!
Barton @ 12.5X200, 1.5GB of Ram at 11,2,2,2 timings. I still think i have at least a couple of grands left with a few tweaks. FarCry and the rest of the games looks absolutely wonderful at 1600X1200 and all the bells and whistles at full throttle. The game never dips under 45fps.
Funny how a little mainboard change makes things better. The NF7 is going into the bin. This in on DFI Lanparty. 10X240@ 11,2,2,2. Lots of room left. Default x800XT clocks.
The first is with the core at default (325) and the ram at a bit too high (820) and the second is with the core at 380 and the ram backed down a bit at 775.
I must say that this 6800 is pretty quick, I'm very impressed. I just wish they'd gone with something other than Hynix ram on it though.
Yeah, regular 6800...I boosted the clocks a bit today to 385 core and 810 mem and upped my oc by a few mhz and pulled in a 10,099.
Even with it being a regular 6800 it still pounds last years cards flat for a mere $299USD which isn't too shabby considering that the 9800XT and 5950U still sell for close to $400USD.
If I can come up with a good income soon I'll probably take advantage of the eVGA update program and get the GT version, if not I'm still happy with the performance I'm squeazing out of this "budget" card.
now i could go more but i am a chicken since i have no more money o replace anything and especially since i burnt a 9800 pro and a msi board less than 3 weeks ago i am very carefull now

First one: MSI Radeon 9800 "XT" (it's a 9800 Pro with an r360 core, and it's recognized as an XT)
Second one: Leadtek 6800GT
Neither one has been overclocked, tweaked, or anything yet. This is just bone stock, with the default settings on everything.
nope the only mod i did was to flash it, luckily i didnt need to vmod it because its clocks up really easily, i got a A64 3500+ coming so i will see what this does to my mark
6669 was my score, however, I don't think my card was OC'd at the time, and I won't have time till this weekend to test my system again.
I have a Athlon64 3000+ 2GHz running at 2.1GHz, and a new Radeon 9800 Pro(XT Core). 1GB od Kingston HyperX PC3200 DDR. If the card was OC'd it was just a few MHz _less_ than a Radeon9800XT card in both Memory and Core. I think 410/375 or something, I am not even sure if its OC'd now as the ATiTool utility I have is new to me and I am not sure if it has to be running for it to work.

AMD Athlon 900 Mhz
KX x133 FSB 200
384 PC133
Radeon 9500 pro..
Groovey baby!!
Is this result typical for my hardware? its my new "GT64" system I asked for advice on before but with videocard overclocked to ultra speed
