Is anyone planning to use the tap system?
Does anyone know how hard would it be to get something local just for funsies? I have no idea what the cost is for a small keg, or how to tap it once obtained, but I'd be interested in a split for one if other people want in.

I'm down. I rented a car, so we could schlep-a-keg if needed. But we'd need someone who knows how to operate all the tap paraphernalia.
I can operate the tap system.
I think @Linc wanted to know so that he could plug it in or move it from storage. If there are already eleventy hundred beers planned, there is a such a thing as too much beer if the keg didn't get used up.

Batch sells kegs, and if we're only doing one, the fact they only sell quarter and half barrels doesn't hurt us as much. I can message Stephen and see what he's got available.
I've got a job in Detroit tomorrow at 2pm so I'm stopping at Batch for lunch. Stephen's gonna let me know what he has available for us. What's our keg budget?

Anyone making plans for Friday yet? I'm taking a half-day off because I might have to be elsewhere for a bit during the late evening.
When's the last time we had a Two James Challenge?
Wouldn't be Oktoberfest if I wasn't trying to hurry up and paint something before the weekend.

@UPSLynx @Gargoyle I think 8 Deg. Plato sells kegs or can get them? http://8degreesplato.com/special-services/#keg-requests
I would contribute $$ to a keg of almost anything but super IPA, but have no ability to affect change.

I'm guessing that scrounging up $20 from 3-5 people should be doable. So maybe $100?
Most kegs are gonna be in the $150-200 range, IIRC. I'll have options and pricing this afternoon.
