Just going through the stats pages to find Arachnid has gone off line permanantly. :(

Real shame as it was one of the pages i checked daily.

Hope i'm allowed to post this screen shot. If not, Mods please delete as i have not tried to do links yet.

That's not TOO bad. I see F@H, EM, Ghost, NAV, MSN, mouse software, NIC status, Sun Java, volume control, and a few I don't recognize. The Ghost, volume control, and mouse software could stand to go, but other than that, I don't see any of the ones I recognize that could really go, I don't think. :-/

    1) ?
    2) Java - I think you can disable the tray icon by right clicking on it and fiddling with the options.
    3) EM3 status light thingy - You can disable it in the program's options if you want.
    4) EM3 - n/a
    5) Network status - n/a
    6) Network status - n/a
    7) ?
    8) F@H graphical client - An alternative would be to run the console versionm set EM3 to hide it, which em3 can also start it up and close it automatically when you open/close the program.
    9) D/U meter?
    10) NAV - If hardly open the program and it's set to run automatically, you can disable the tray icon in the program's options.
    11) IncrediMail: Never used it so don't know
    12) Sound properties: Can also disable tray icon is you never adjust it. You can do it in Control Panel > Sound and Audio devices > "Place volume icon in taskbar"
    13) ?
    14) ?
    15) You can disable tray icon in options.
    16) ?
    17) ?
    18) Mouse program thingy - Don't know if it's needed or if you can disable it.
    19) MSN Messenger: n/a
    20) ?
    21) Norton Ghost 2003: You can disable icon in options.

Thanks guys. Just finished a tinker and used the opportunity to do a restart of the puter after removing some of the "Offending" items. Had 21, down to 11. Getting there.

Just need to follow up on a few of your suggestions V o E.

    Cheers

    1) Mailwasher - n/a
    7) Look like something for a webcam - you could probably disable that too
    9) ZoneAlarm - n/a

The other ones that VoE missed I'm not sure about either.

I am sorry to hear about Arachnid going down.

I hope he finds a way to get it back up under a new structure.
