Taken today in downtown Detroit. This shot was taken from the Millender Center Skywalk. The building you are looking at is the Renaissance Center (It's technically called the GM Renaissance Center now, but no local would ever call it that)

Nice anlge, I love what it does to the lines of the tunnel vs the tower. Very "tourist brochure" looking shot, and I mean that in a good way :)

The first picture was taken back in Nov 2003 at my front door during sunset. I love this pic and was my desktop for a while.

The second picture was just fooling around in the dark of my ADSL modem, router, a few zip disks, and random junk on my desk.

I resized them for you, gnome. Use photoshop or if you want to go the free route, use picasa (free from google).

This is a collaboration between my wife and I. She was given an assignment for one of her college art classes and she recruited me as the photographer for the project. We found various objects around the house, posed them, photographed them, photoshopped them, and assembled them.

Prime, that turned out pretty awesome. Reminded me of a pic I had on here. We took a pinhole camera outside and did these. A pinhole camera is just a light-tight box (we used a cardboard oatmeal container painted black inside), a pinhole, and shutter (cardboard). Inside you stick a piece of photopaper. Open the shutter for a few seconds outside. If it's inside, open it for several minutes (like 10). Has a neat effect. This is my outside my school. On top is what you get what you process the paper. On bottom it's inverted (ie - 'true' black and white colors). I thought it was pretty interesting.

(That shadow is from me holding the thing in front of my face. Smart cookie, I am.)
