That didn't take too long. I hope the others go so smoothly. Good job, guys!

Okay, so I get the package the other day at work. I notice the box is a little beat up, but my hopes are high. I open up the box and notice that the entire thing is filled with packing peanuts, and the cover is off the case. Great. Just great. I'm preparing for the worst.
I spend the next 15 minutes pulling styrofoam peanuts out of every nook and crannie. While I'm cleaning, I notice that the PSU is not screwed in. Next I notice that there is not one single screw except for the 4 holding down the motherboard.
Anyway, I screwed everything back in, and before installing a HD, I checked to see if she would POST. All is good so far. I installed a HD and CD-ROM. BIOS recognizes both so things are definitely ready for an OS install.
These days I usually leave for work around 7:30AM and usually get home at around 7PM, so I'm pretty beat when I walk in the door. I'm hoping to leave work tomorrow before 6, and I've set aside some time to install an OS and run a WU or two. I'll post my results on Friday.
Would anyone object to me turning in a WU in my name for the test?

Update on SM15. I started off the night well by installing both a bum CD-ROM and HD. I replaced the cables and still no dice. I replaced both drives and everything went smoothly after that.
SM15 is currently stress testing on Win2K SP4 and everything seems fine at this point. I don't know if I'll turn in a WU in my name, since I have more PCs than I do ports on my router, so I'm just looking for stability at this point. So far, so good.
Just a side note: whoever becomes the new host of SM15 will need to install their own OS. I can't afford to give out any more licenses. Sorry.
Hey, that's all part of the hosting deal anyways, Seth. It's up to the host to provide a workable OS for the machine. Glad to hear that she's looking ok so far in the stress testing.
SM12 and SM15 are back under our control. SM7 is still being illicitly held by Wahoogie. I'm unstickying this thread as I feel it's served as much of its purpose as can be hoped. Thanks everyone.
