I'd have fun doing it. It'd be a nice twist. No more sinpers, no real camping involved. You shoot your gun, then reload. If you don't have time to reload, you give the guy the sharp end of your gun

You have to look at it from their [the companies] perspective, it's just not going to make money.

Csimon: On the 4th platform, just choose "PAD 1" and it will take you to a different pad 1 - the exit one.
Thank you thank you thank you.
I can't tell you how many times I've been thru it ...pad 2 - pad 3 - pad 4 (which takes you down to the first tier) then pad 2 - pad 3 - pad 4 ...over and over last night. I was really irritated to begin with and then I get that crap.
    Thank goodness for you brian!
So ...what did I miss from the martian buddy cabinet? I never looked up the code and by the time I realized I was on the next level. I didn't even save that level so now I may never know! ;D

I think those companies make more money by selling the engine. Doom 3 was just a showcase.

The first martian buddy cabinet contains a chaingun. The second? A BFG9000 ... You should get that one ;D

i thought pain killer was boring... talk about repetitive, walk into a room kill 80 monsters, walk into another kill 80 more, oooh look a new type of monster, kill 20 of them blah blah blah blah. all fps are repetitive, everything's been done already, the problem is every game has some repetitive stuff...

I wish I'd seen the site earlier then... I'm in the same situation as csimon. I only saw the site after I passed that level. Maybe the second will turn up soon.

Well ...the beast stopped and was just standing there ...I thought he was dead. I killed the seekers and nothing happened ...just me and him and he's just standing there rocking back and forth panting and looking side to side.

So ...I started hell over and when I get there now I see the blue ball and respawning seekers like you said ...so I'll have to approach that level all over again.

But anyway ...thanks for helping me realize I found a bug!

Crazy Joe is having a problem with the game, too: Every time he kills a monster, it just hangs there in the air, dead.

I had fun for over an hour so far...

It reminds me more of Half-Life than anything else in the FPS genre...

Yeah I think ID lacked any creativity on the story line, so they took it from Half-Life it seems. I mean if you play throught the entire game the story feels alot like HL. But yeah it was fun but it's a game I probably won't ever touch again.
