actually a big server case is what? Maybe 15cf in area inside when full at the very max? Soa 100 cfm clears the case complete with new air every 6 or7 seconds or so if you have equal intake and exhaust. You really think your generating enough heat to make it needed to flush all air every 2 or 3 seconds for twice the noise? Thats not a trade I would make. I bet your cpu doesnt run even 1 or 2 degrees differance for twice the noise. After my adventures I changed and now try to do the best QUIET cooling. Its really worth a couple degrees in temps. I use huge zalman coolers and they are so quiet I can't hear them.....ahhhhhhhhhh peace and quiet. Todays cpu's run so much cooler in general then the first athlon's and XP's....

ahh forget all that quiet stuff, you gotta have the manly loud roaring noise.. lmao
nah i figured id snatch one of these ac-dc adapters i got laying around to hook it up too since the nice people at E-Machines decided my computer (2.60Ghz P4,512 kington PC2700) only needed a 250 watt power supply an seeing that fan pulls around 1 amp im not going to take away from an already gimp psu.
like a dude said in a earlier post if nothing else the fan would be good for a hovercraft. WOOOO

377cfm:59db is not a bad ratio at all to be honest but 59db will eventually be annoying. Good luck!!!
