Well that motherboard is a fairly extensive platform that is chocked full of features. It will be part of what is going to be powering this site. It will be a good test of reliability and stability of that company's platforms.
I knew a few builders who would never touch GB desktop boards but are happy with their server boards.
Two different markets require two different approaches. MSI are just the same.
How many Athlon MP users use Gigabyte boards?? Just look at 2cpu.com for your answer... alot

I'm going with Shorty & Mediaman on this one... I had a gigabyte dually board... it was fine when I used it... it POSTed both times I turned it on... (never had any hard drives or anything hooked up to it tho)
Hmmm.... 8 Dual Channel slots for 4 channels of RAM. Total of RAM: 32GB or more?
After all, 64 bit processors can handle something like 64GB or more of RAM, or how did you calculate what a processor can handle. Was it something like 64^2?
Right now the practical max for the board we're putting in there is 8gb. I suppose the theoretical max for this board is 16gb if you used 2gb dimms. Since 2gb dimms are around $900 each, putting 16gb in there would cost somewhere around $7200. I suppose we could do a fundraiser
We're going with 4gb of ram. A good balance between insane ram capacity and cost effectiveness.

Prime's been caught red-handed! It pissed/spilled all over his keyboard...! Either that or he fell asleep with his head on the keyboard and his mouth open...

Let's wait and see before judgement is passed.
