Those outside of the US: I apologize for the lame packaging, but I stuffed large envelopes full of cards instead of putting them in boxes. It is much cheaper to send an envelope than a box to Canada, UK, Australia, etc.
No problem, and thanks, the dear old Royal Mail will probably repackage them in gift boxes with ribbons and stuff.
I always tell my students to fold, and these cards might be a good way to help them remember by the time they get home. I think that a few of them do remember, cause they are really interested in it, but I doubt that they remember to enter 93 as their team. These cards would help with that also...
I could easily go through a hundred of them, just handing them out to interested students. Most of my students are socially conscientious adults with families (and older parents) so it's easy to interest them.
Hey Brian, were those made by that company you told me about online? I cant remember the name, did you just design a PSD and send it to them? They look top notch, I need to have some business cards made up and those look awesome.
These things are even better when seen in person. They are laminated with a sweat-proof finish so they won't go soggy in your pocket, and are sturdy enough to pick locks with. Amazing to behold.
I've dealt with them for two years now, gotten lots of cards from them for different things, and the quality has always been beyond superb. I have never once spoken with a single human being there. I submit the orders as PDF files on their website, put in my credit card, etc.. and then they send back a PDF proof. If the proof is okay, I click "okay" and then the cards show up several days later.
Their prices are a bit high on shipping, and they do take a while to get here (because overnight shipping is exhorbitantly high), but other than that, i have no complaints.
If you've still got some cards left I'm interested in passing a few out, I think church and the local music/hobby shop among others would be good places to pass them out.
Wow, great idea and great design! Too bad I support Team Icrontic, but if I could send the full points to both teams I would! But in reality my points would be cut in half and I would be no competition at all.
