My Speeds pretty bad because the fastest we can get in New Zealand is 2mb/s.

    1265kbps Download

I can't believe that you guys in America get your speed upgraded for free by your IP's...

I am using the new Verizon Fios "Fiber" I have the 2nd best package! rated 15dwn and 2up... i really wanted the 5up but as it sits now I need to make a bit more cash to afford that connection.

I pay $48.89USD per month right now for the 15dwn and 2up

to get 35Dwn and 5up it cost about $179.00USD

Heres one for the dial up people. This is a souped up connection with a high speed v92/v44 modem. I get 54.6 almost every time.

Lets see if any other dial up users can beat that./challenge/

Download 33 kbps upload 107 kbps

I'm doing a test. Currently, we have DSL with the local municipalitys internet setup @ $40.00 a month. We're switching to Shaw Cable at the end of the week @ $16.00 a month for 6 months then it goes up to $40.00 a month. I'll post the Shaw Cable at the end of the week.

    Municipality DSL:
Download Speed: 2608 kbps (326 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 445 kbps (55.6 KB/sec transfer rate)

Adelphia Cable, I wonder if 4 pc's running Dimes might be slowing me up a little.

I'm guessing you don't live around any other Cox cable customers? That's a great speed.

Here's my new RR premium speed after the recent free upgrade in Central Florida.

This speed test is at : http://myspeed.visualware.com/ and works quite well.

Seems to give good solid results.

the reason Cox is so good where I am is CT and RI are on the same network and Cox is competing with FIOS in RI. Thus speeds better be good or all the RI customers would go do FIOS. I know quite a few people who have Cox and thiers it just as fast. Also, one must keep in mind this Cox system of three towns was orginally a different company with great cable modem speeds, so the network was already good when they bought it, thus requiring less money to get it up to DOCSIS 2.0.
