If you guys knew the subject of a PM I received from Armo the other day, half of you would faint from excitement and the other half would storm Villa de Prof demanding that I hand over the {item which will remain a secret for the time being}.
Just give up Prof. You'll never get that I-Pox 360 folding.

We've got a few more rigs in the pipeline before the Big Number™ will be offered. Unless we find suitable Hosts for the ones already on my bench we'll never even get to the Big Number™ - so don't look at SM32, etc, as weak sisters when they are announced! :rarr:

(Not that I'd complain too much if I got to keep the Big Number™ here for a while; it's going to be an SMx "first".)

Step One: Be a longtime member in good standing of Team 93
Step Two: Attend a party at primesuspect's house
Step Three: Allow primesuspect's dog to have his way with you
Step Four: Be chosen for the position by the team leadership

This is not really the official policy, but that's the way it worked out for me. :mullet:

sectorz715: Just so you don't think we've all gone crazy, there was an "incident" about a year and a half ago which is what led me to mention what I did. There is also pictorial documentation of this event, though I'll be hanged if I'm going to go hunt it down. A search of the forums for "4th of July" ought to point you in the right direction... :bawling:

With four of six voters reporting in, there is but a single vote separating the leader and the guy in second place. Every candidate still has a mathematical chance of at least being tied for the lead once the last two ballots arrive.

We weren't kidding when we said that this would be a tough choice... :bawling:

Another note... the committee has been in the process of finishing up a Committee Charter that will enable the team to have a say in who is in the committee.

All I can say at this point is that I'm sure that there will be four worthy candidates who will be disappointed this time around.

I can also assure them that their disappointment will not be permanent. Every one of our candidates deserves the exalted title of SMx Host, and with the lineup I see sitting here on my workbench, (not to mention The Big Number™ - which UPS tells me is sitting a mere couple of hundred yards away) I think it's safe to say that any also-ran status will be fleeting - there will be a new rig announced soon. :fold:
